Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The Maple Shade First Aid Squad has immediate openings for full- and part-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).

We are seeking well rounded certified EMTs. We are willing to help train the right candidates. The requirements of the job include:

Current state or NREMT emergency medical technician certification
The ability to administer basic life support to patients at the scene, enroute to the hospital and in a pre-hospital setting
Communicating with professional medical personnel to obtain instructions regarding a patient’s further treatment
Possessing the skills necessary to perform the duties of an emergency medical technician
Conducting yourself in a dignified and compassionate manner, and protecting the patients’ privacy at all times
Being flexible and a team player
Available a minimum of 6 shifts a month, including a weekend
Must be currently certified in healthcare provider CPR
